Giardini a lago nel Parco di Mezzegra

Sunday July 21st, 2024 at 06:00 AM

An inspirational sunrise concert on the lake, followed by a yoga session (optional) and breakfast offered to the entire audience.

The long march of the accordion to be accepted as a noble instrument, not confined to barn dances, has finally borne fruit. A great deal of music has been transcribed for it, that was originally intended not only for its bigger brother, the organ, but for every sort of instrument and ensemble. Old keyboard music is of course suitable, due to its narrow range, hence it is not surprising that Domenico Scarlatti can be played on the accordion. It is more surprising that it can accommodate and suggest the orchestra palette of The Nutcracker. A great challenge and a veritable discovery for us.
