10. Musical Meditations with Christiane Karg

Among the protagonists and supporters of the Festival since its first edition, the soprano Christiane Karg is one of the most praised soprano in the world and she just received in 2018 the prestigious “Brahms Prize”. This year she will be performing at the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Help, UNESCO World Heritage Site.

LacMus Festival Quartet will be performing with her. The quartet is composed by Gary Levinson – Concertmaster at Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Roberto Righetti – Principal Second Violin at RAI Symphony Orchestra, Iakov Zats – who usually collaborates as Principal Viola in some of the most famous European orchestras, Andrea Scacchi – who studied with Enrico Dindo, was Principal Cello of I Solisti di Pavia, Orchestra La Verdi di Milano and many other orchestras.

Before the concert, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a Holy Mass in the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin of Relief.
