Born from an idea of the artistic directors Paolo Bressan and Louis Lortie, LacMus Festival Orchestra brings together professional Italian and international musicians. This ensemble represents one of the examples of the deepest aims of the festival, which is to create synergies and contacts between musicians, developing artistic expressions and values at the highest level.
Among the orchestra players, Roberto Righetti, Violin, is Principal Second Violin at RAI Symphony Orchestra; Andrea Scacchi, Cello, permanently collaborates with the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milano; Gabriele Carpani, is Principal Double Bass at RAI Symphony Orchestra.
Gary Levinson is Concertmaster at Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Iakov Zats was Principal Viola of Orchestra dell’Arena di Verona and regularly collaborates with some of the most famous conductors of Europe.
