Participation Rules

The masterclass is organized by Associazione Musicale e Culturale Ars Aeterna ETS.

The masterclass with Louis Lortie will be held from July 1st to 5th, 2022 at Istituto Comprensivo Statale della Tremezzina, in Ossuccio (CO), Italy.

Every participant will be attending 5 individual lessons, each one lasting 60 minutes at least. Maestro Lortie might consider extending the length of such lessons on the basis of his indisputable decision.
The most remarkable students will be performing at the final concert at the Auditorium dell’Istituto Comprensivo Statale della Tremezzina in Ossuccio (CO), on July 5th, 2022, at 9.00 pm.

Participants will need to autonomously provide for their accomodation for the masterclass period. LacMus Academy will be recommending a list of local accommodation facilities.

In order to participate in the masterclass it is required to pass a selection process.
The application must be made by sending:
• a presentation video, in which the candidate shall express his expectations towards the masterclass. The length of this video shall not be exceeding 3 minutes;
• a video of a musical performance of the candidate, who can present a program of free choice lasting not more than 20 minutes. Either videos specifically recorded for this application or previously recorded are admitted, with the only requirement of having been recorded in the last 8 months.

Both videos must be uploaded on YouTube and sent via a Youtube link which shall be inserted in the provided space in the application form.
Other video platforms are excluded.
If the candidate wishes to make the video private and accessible only via the link, the “unlisted” option shall be selected in the setting table of the YouTube video.

The application deadline is 27 May 2022, at 11.59 pm CEST. This means that prior to this date the candidate must complete the application form and also pay the application fee of 50,00 Euros.

Candidates will be notified about the results of the selection process by LacMus Academy from June 3rd, 2022, at the email address specified in their application.

The masterclass will be open to any casual listeners.

LacMus Academy will be providing dedicated spaces for studying at Istituto Comprensivo Statale della Tremezzina in Ossuccio (CO).

Candidates under age 18 can apply and attend the masterclass only if accompanied by parents for the whole duration of the course.

Application fee and Partecipation fee given to the organizing association for organizational costs

Applications must be sent before 27 May 2022, at 11.59 pm CEST by filling the online form: https://forms.gle/9E55eB5JeHAGxFEa7

The application requires the following documents to be sent via the form:
• ID Card (alternatively a parent’s ID card if the candidate is under age 18);
• the candidate’s curriculum vitae.

In order to complete the application, a payment of an application fee (€ 50,00) via PayPal or bank transfer is required. The link to proceed to payment will be shown at the end of the application form.

The participation fee given to the organizing association for organizational costs is 500 Euros, which can be paid once the candidate receives the admission results, via PayPal or bank transfer, by writing the student’s name.
The participation fee must be paid before June 19th, 2022 (registration deadline).

Permission to use images and audio video content

DECLARES

to be aware that Associazione Musicale e Culturale Ars Aeterna ETS might use images and audio video content taken during the masterclass without due of corresponding any fee or compensation for it;

AUTHORIZES

Associazione Musicale e Culturale Ars Aeterna ETS to use, without limits of time, photographic and audio video content taken during the masterclass to create editorial content to promote its activities and generally to pursue its institutional purposes.
