Set in the magnificent backdrop of Lake Como, where historic villas and century-old gardens reflect on crystal-clear waters, LacMus International Music Festival aspires to weave a unique dialogue between exceptional musicians, architectural beauty and breathtaking landscapes.
The magic of LacMus Festival is brought to life by a passionate, multidisciplinary team of professionals who work tirelessly with devotion and expertise to elevate this extraordinary musical event each year.
Since 2017, LacMus International Music Festival has aimed to create a unique dialogue between outstanding music, architectural spaces and natural beauty of Lake Como’s magnificent setting.
Over the years, the Festival has built a valuable network of partners and supporters that extends beyond Italy, promoting the beauty of classical music and the cultural heritage of Lake Como worldwide.
LacMus International Music Festival was founded in 2017 by conductor Paolo Bressan and pianist Louis Lortie, offering audiences an international series of classical music concerts.
An event that merges the harmony of music with the magnificence of lakeside venues, showcasing Italian excellence in its most complete form.
Since its inception, the Festival has welcomed internationally renowned artists and some of the most promising young talents from prestigious music academies, such as the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium and the Istituto Comprensivo Statale della Tremezzina. It has fostered new synergies between emerging and established artists.
Starting in 2025, we collaborate with Sinfonia Smith Square, an ambitious London-based orchestra that has helped hundreds of young musicians elevate their careers to new artistic heights
