Introduction

Since day one, the Ossuccio Sanctuary has hosted a concert intended to elicit meditative and/or contemplative moods. Such was also the very first LacMus Festival opening, on July 9, 2017, with the great voice of Christiane Karg. Now she returns for this 10th Anniversary edition, with a program mainly focused on nocturnal and reverie-inspired pieces. This time, she is backed not by a piano, but by the magical resonances of a harp, in the clever hands of Anneleen Lenaerts, principal harpist of the Wiener Philharmoniker.

Access to the venue

The Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Soccorso is located at an altitude of 400 meters and can only be reached on foot, via a charming cobbled path.
Estimated walking time: approximately 25 minutes.

Recommended itinerary:
The walk begins at the IV Chapel, in the village of Ossuccio.
Address: Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, 48 – 22010 Ossuccio (CO).
A small parking area is available nearby.

The route continues along the cobbled road that follows the avenue of chapels representing the Way of the Cross.
Total elevation gain: approximately 100 meters.
