The piano of Louis Lortie meets the winds of Les Vents Français, the French ensemble made up of internationally renowned soloists who are part of some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world. On this occasion, the complete ensemble performs with Maestro Lortie: Emmanuel Pahud – Principal Flute of the Berliner Philharmoniker, Gilbert Audin – Principal Bassoon of the Opéra de Paris, Paul Mayer – clarinet, François Leleux – oboe, and Radovan Vlatković – horn.
Emmanuel Pahud obtained the role of Principal Flute of the Berliner Philharmoniker at the age of 22. He is a regular guest soloist at the world’s most famous festivals and orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Camerata Salzburg, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and many more.
