The final concert of the festival will feature three examples of piano concertos: the Baroque concerto (Bach), the Classical concerto (Mozart), and the Romantic concerto (Chopin).
On the piano will be Maestro Louis Lortie and two young pianists from the Cappella Musicale Regina Elisabetta of Belgium. Joining them will be the LacMus Festival Quintet, composed of Gary Levinson – first violin of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Roberto Righetti – First Violin of the RAI Symphony Orchestra, Gabriele Carpani – Principal Double Bass of the RAI Symphony Orchestra, Iakov Zats – a regular principal viola with some of Europe’s most famous orchestras, and Andrea Scacchi – trained under Enrico Dindo, former principal cello of I Solisti di Pavia, Orchestra La Verdi di Milano, and many other orchestral formations.
