LacMus Festival 2020 is a special edition that, due to the Covid19 pandemic that has severely affected Italy and other nations, will be held in a reduced form. The 2020 edition features new outdoor locations, new concert formulas (at dawn and at aperitif time) and new solutions.
In response to the post-lockdown social distancing requirements, the artistic direction has studied specific solutions for each location, in order to guarantee the maximum level of safety for the public. In some concerts, the spectator can add to the traditional musical enjoyment also the experience of listening via Wi-Fi headphones, which allows them to move freely, combining the music with the artistic and architectural suggestions of the location.
The musical program of the 2020 festival pays homage to the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig Van Beethoven.
