After last year’s great success, “Vive les amateurs!” hosts once again a kaleidoscope of short pieces played not by professional performers, but by music enthusiasts. They are people who make a living out of another job, from lawyer to scientist, but can boast regular musical studies, keep their music passion alive, and still practice. Some are members of PianoLink, an association of music lovers that has been collaborating with LacMus Festival since 2024. They keep alive a tradition that has flourished for centuries and immensely contributed to the dissemination of music before the invention of sound reproduction. The evening’s main programme will conclude with convivial refreshments, followed by a nocturnal set of gentle music – intimate and wrapped in an air of quiet elegance.

Music under the stars: Rosy Fenu, Erminio Campanelli, Silvia Parma, Anna Maria Curradi and some more fellow musicians will perform contemplative works by J.S. Bach, F. Mendelssohn, G. Fauré, C. Debussy, and others.

Access to the Venue
Facing the ”Locanda Il Grifo”, take the road to the right and follow it to the ferry terminal (Via Mattia del Riccio), then turn left onto Via Stazione.
Parking is available along Via Mattia del Riccio.
Access to the square is pedestrian only, as it lies within a restricted traffic zone (ZTL).
The ticket office will open one hour prior to the beginning of the concert.
Access to the event area will be permitted starting twenty minutes before the scheduled concert time.
In case of bad weather
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at the Auditorium dell’Istituto Comprensivo Statale della Tremezzina, located in the Ossuccio area.
