Opera arias by Rossini, Tosti, Obradors, Bizet, Verdi, and Saint-Saëns, performed by tenor Renè Barbera and mezzo-soprano Rihab Chaieb, accompanied on piano by Paolo Bressan and Sophia Muñoz.
This concert takes the audience on a journey through some of the most famous pieces from the operatic repertoire. Brilliant four-hand piano transcriptions of well-known works by Rossini and Bizet alternate with Tosti’s arias and Obradors’ Spanish folk songs, with a special tribute to Giuseppe Verdi, featuring two gems from Rigoletto.
