Biography

Valeria Vecerina, born in Carate Brianza on 27.03.2001, approached the study of the violin at the age of 5. She began her studies under the guidance of several teachers, including Davide Alogna, who prepared her for admission to the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Como at the age of 11. She studied at the “Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento dei Musici di Parma” under the teaching of M. Stefano Pagliani. She attended masterclasses with M. Francesco Manara, Ilya Grubert, at the Imola academy ‘Incontri col Maestro’ with M. Oleksandr Semchuck and Ksenia Milas and at the “Accademia degli Sfaccendati” with Shlomo Mintz. She graduated with M. Enrico Casazza in July 2021 with 110 cum laude. She won prizes and awards in national and international competitions in Villafranca, San Bartolomeo al mare, Vimodrone, London’s Grand Prize Virtuoso, thanks to which she will perform in April 2022 in the Elgar Room of the Royal Albert Hall. She performed at the “Palazzina Liberty” in Milan for the “MiAmor 2019” festival and at the “Teatro La
Fenice” in Venice. In the summer of 2021 she attended the masterclass at the “Accademia Chigiana” in Siena in the class of M. Salvatore Accardo, with whom She is currently studying at the “Walter Stauffer Center for Strings” in Cremona. She is currently attending the Master of art in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana under the class of M. Klaidi Sahatci .
