Biography

Italian harpist, born in 1992, she started to play harp at the age of eight.

She graduated with full marks, distinction and honours in Harp Solo Performance with Patrizia Tassini at the “Jacopo Tomadini” Conservatory of Music in Udine.

She studied also in Vienna, at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst with Mirjam Schröder, and previously at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Karen Vaughan.

More over, she attended the Postgraduate’s Courses of Fiesole School of Music with Luisa Prandina and Susanna Bertuccioli and perfected with several international harpists like Fabrice Pierre, Isabelle Perrin, Margherita Bassani, Park Stickney and Skaila Kanga.

She had her debut as soloist in Budapest with the International Young Soloists’ Orchestra.

She had the role of Principal Harp in the Teatro San Carlo Orchestra, in the International Young Soloists’ Orchestra Budapest, in the Sinfonia Smith Square Orchestra, Camerata Strumentale Città di Prato, Mitteleuropa Orchestra, in the Italian Youth Symphonic Conservatories’ Orchestra and in the Mitteleuropa Orchestra.

She won different harp competitions, as “Premio Nazionale delle Arti”, “Città di Treviso” International Music Competition, “Abbado Music Prize” etc.

She played in many musical festivals and important halls in Europe as: Belvedere Museum and Konzerthaus Wien, Chigiana International Festival, Micat in Vertice, Nuova Consonanza-Roma, Teatro Argentina, Cantiere internazionale d’arte di Montepulciano, Festival dei due Mondi Spoleto, Herbst Musicaux Festival, Metastasio Jazz, Teatro Barco, Musicainsieme, Mittelfest, da Firenze all’Europa, Strings City Florence, Musica a Villa Durio, Armonie della Magna Graecia, Museo degli Uffizi, Sala Bianca Palazzo Pitti, St. James Church Piccadilly, Kolarac Concert Hall etc.

In 2019 she realized her first recording project with the Brilliant Classics label, entitled “French Songs for flute and harp”, with the first flute of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Andrea Manco.

She also records with other prestigious record labels, including Tuk Music and Centripeta.

In the contemporary music and jazz-sperimental music scene, she collaborated with artists of the caliber of Harris Lambrakis, Stefano Battaglia, Marco Angius, Andrea Molino, Tonino Battista, Lorenzo Donati, Francesco Ponticelli, Paolo Silvestri etc. and with various ensemble like Chigiana Chamber Ensemble, Chigiana-Siena Jazz Ensemble, Ensemble degli Intrigati and Ensemble de Angelis.

She is currently harp teacher at the Siena Jazz Academy.

She graduated in Psychology at the University of Padova and is completing her Music Therapy Master at the “Girolamo Frescobaldi” Conservatory in Ferrara.
