Biography

Dancer and choreographer born in Granada.
She obtained a professional diploma in Spanish and Flamenco Dance from the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Reina Sofía in Granada.
Scholarship holder at the Centro Andaluz de Danza in Seville under the direction of Blanca Li.

Her choreographic works include Fandango18, Saldiguera, Vía Bamba, Tápate niña, [ETC], Variación a tempo, Recital Flamenco and Real de la Alhambra.

In addition to her solo work, she has performed as a solo dancer with Estévez & Paños, Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, Eduardo Guerrero, Daniel Doña, Wang Ramirez and others.

In 2022 she embarked on a new path with Sara Jiménez en Compañía, debuting with her work ADIOSES, followed by her recent work MUSA MÍA. She also continues to collaborate with various music and performing arts companies.

Sara Jiménez is tracing her own style, in which dance, dramatic gesture and music coexist in a unique space. A firm believer in artistic collaborations and collective creation, she welcomes the languages ​​of each of the artists she invites, in a continuous search for that place where different artistic disciplines meet, inspiring her works and becoming a space of expression for her proposals.
