Axel Trolese’s career started in 2015 by winning the Casella Prize at the “Premio Venezia Competition“, followed by numerous concerts and a discographic debut with the complete Debussy’s Etudes in 2016. Successive acknowledgements have been the “Grand Prix Alain Marinaro“, “Pozzoli International Piano Competition” and the “Giuseppe Sinopoli Prize”, assigned by the Italian President of Republic.

He could work with great musicians like Louis Lortie, Benedetto Lupo, Maurizio Baglini, Denis Pascal and Edoardo Torbianelli, attending Paris’ National Conservatory, Rome’s Santa Cecilia Academy, Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel and Schola Cantorum.

Passionate about Spanish music, Trolese has recorded the complete “Iberia” by Albéniz in two CD publications with Da Vinci Classics in 2021 and 2023, featuring in the project works by De Falla, Turina, Mompou and Ravel as well.

Axel Trolese has performed in Europe, America and Asia, in halls and festivals like Dresdner Musikfestspiele, Auditorium Parco della Musica, Salle Cortot, Flagey, Bechstein Hall London, Beijing Millennium Concert Hall, Keyboard Trust London, Quirinal Palace, Società del Quartetto di Milano, Ravenna Festival, Weimarhalle, La Fenice Theatre, Valley of the Moon Music Festival, Musica Insieme and Fazioli Concert Hall. His concerts are regularly broadcasted by France Musique, Rai Radio 3, WWFM New York and Venice Classic Radio.

He teaches piano for Bachelor and Master’s Degree students in Castelfranco Veneto’s Conservatory, in northern Italy.
