A bridge between music, passion and culture

The Musical and Cultural Association Ars Aeterna ETS represents the beating heart of LacMus International Music Festival, a precious bridge between great classical music and the wonders of Lake Como. Founded in 2017 by conductor Paolo Bressan and pianist Louis Lortie and, its work focuses on promoting musical performances and cultural activities in a broad sense, such as some exhibitions organized at the Museo del Paesaggio del Lago di Como located in Tremezzo.

Through the tireless organizational work of its members, with the support of the Municipal Administration of Tremezzina and international partners such as the American Friends of LacMus Festival, the association is also able to promote the training of young talents, collaborating with prestigious institutions such as the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Waterloo or the Smith Square Symphony in London.

The constituent details

Ars Aeterna ETS is a legally recognized free non-profit musical and cultural association, based in the Lenno area of ​​the Municipality of Tremezzina.

It was established by notarial deed in 2017 by Maestro Louis Lortie – Canadian pianist and Maestro Paolo Bressan – conductor resident in Berlin.

It is regularly registered with the RUNTS (Single Third Sector Register) since 01/27/2022.

Its purpose is to disseminate classical music and enhance the territorial beauties of Lake Como.

It has foreign and Italian members for the organization of the festival and academies with young musicians.
