Now in its fifth edition, featuring a few new additions, the LacMus Festival’s winter series Aspettando il Natale (Waiting for Christmas) returns with a series of five “widespread” musical events in locations sharing great charm and beauty.Dressed in Christmas decorations and enveloped in a magical, festive atmosphere, they will offer opportunities to experience music in an intimate and unprecedented way. Promoted by the Ars Aeterna Ets Association with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Tremezzina, the patronage of the Municipality of Canzo, and in collaboration with Villa del Balbianello, Villa Sormani Marzorati Uva, and the Parish of S. Abbondio in Mezzegra, the series takes as its common thread the desire to come together in anticipation of Christmas. Precious, hidden stages open up to reveal the enchantment of the holidays and provide a unique experience alongside the skill of talented young musicians performing in various formations: from the transverse flute to solo violin, from a trio of ancient instruments to accompanied voice,from cello to saxophone.
