Natale in Villa Sormani Marzorati Uva

From the lake to Brianza, as happens for LacMus Festival in the summer, Saturday, December 14 at 4:30 p.m. the second event at Villa Sormani Marzorati Uva in Missaglia (LC). In the Lecco area under the hill of Montevecchia, the Villa, thanks to the work of Count Alberto Uva, is a center for the diffusion of territorial culture, an illustrious historical dwelling, an expression of a glorious past and evidence of a collective living projected toward a bright future. The event is a unique opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling experience in the value of sharing, also in view of the fact that the Villa is a private residence not open to the public, except in special circumstances.

With admission fee (for info and reservations via whatsapp +393516310517) the park of Villa Sormani Marzorati Uva and the adjoining Chapel of St. Maria with the fresco depicting St. Helen will offer a natural stage with the initial walk along the avenue of a hundred linden trees illuminated by lanterns and sunset light sipping hot tea thanks to the traditional gift of LacMus Festival.

This will be followed by great emotions in a plunge into the past. The concert with the harp by Valentina Ponte, a young performer and winner of numerous competitions in the Chapel of S. Maria in Villa adjacent to the main body of the Villa, will transport us to the magical time of Advent with pages by D. Scarlatti, F. Godefroid, A. Hasselmans, A. Zabel and H. Renié. A place in dialogue with Lake Como, chosen because it is a treasure chest of memories of an area where history, tradition and culture meet in a mutual exchange for which music acts as an intangible synthesis at the time of year that most invites union in all its possible inclinations and contaminations.

At the end of the concert, the charming Torchio Hall, the result of a recent restoration and enriched by a nativity scene by Maurizio Villa, awaits guests for a moment of conviviality and exchange of good wishes with mulled wine and panettone.
