Concerto di Natale

It begins on Sunday, December 1, at 4 p.m. with a concert by the Quartetto di Flauti Prisma in the Church of San Sebastiano in Oria Valsolda adjacent to Villa Fogazzaro Roi, the magnificent mansion overlooking the Como shores of Lake Lugano where writer Antonio Fogazzaro lived and set his famous novel “Piccolo Mondo Antico.” In a place of great inspiration and stillness, the concert is an invitation to celebrate the arrival of Christmas in a charming winter lake setting.

To welcome the audience the Christmas Mug of LacMus Festival, a nice and welcome gift, accompanied by a hot tea offered by the Pro Loco of Valsolda in the small square in front lit by the lights of the sunset, followed, at the end of the concert, by the excellent mulled wine that will allow to live the satisfying emotion of a new experience (in case of rain, the Grotta della Villa will be used).

The suggestion of the place will resonate on the notes of the program proposed by the ensemble consisting of Damiano Bodi, Alice Paglia, Vittorio Nissotti, Camilla Gasparetto, a formation born within the Chamber Music course of the Conservatorio Cantelli in Novara under the guidance of Giuseppe Gregori, which will propose a repertoire with music by A. Reicha, F. Devienne, W.A Mozart and traditional Christmas.
