LacMus Festival 2021 takes place from 8 to 18 July 2021 on Lake Como, Italy.
The musical program of this edition is a tribute to several anniversaries: 700 years from Dante Alighieri’s death, 100 years from Astor Piazzolla’s birth and 100 years from Camille Saint-Saëns’s death. Also, 2020 was the year marking the 100th anniversary of the return of Isola Comacina from Belgium to Italy and the celebration will be held this year.
Besides the concerts, a special exhibition is part of 2021 program: “Artur Schnabel and family – A musical legacy in Tremezzina, Lake Como” is the first international project ever dedicated to Artur Schnabel and his family and will be open to the public from 1 July to 26 September 2021 at Museo del Paesaggio del Lago di Como in Tremezzo (CO).
All concerts will be held outdoor.
