This compilation of art songs features composers who are as close in time as they are distant in space and spirit. As in a sort of synchronic cross-section of the Belle Époque, we can listen, side by side, to the songs that flourished at that time in Italy, Germany, France, and Austria, with their contrasting colors and flavors—from the last sighs of the dying-out Habsburg world to the brazen seductions of the Parisian music hall, with black American syncopations already knocking on the door.

The ticket office opens one hour before the concert.
Admission from the access gates is allowed twenty minutes before the start of the concert.

Getting to Villa del Balbianello on foot:
The villa is accessible on foot by walking along the path from Via degli Artigiani in Lenno (see map). Walking time: about 20 min.
Getting to Villa del Balbianello by Taxi-Boat:
It is possible to access Villa del Balbianello via the lake by Taxi-Boat for a supplementary fee.
2 boats will be available. Multiple trips will be made.
No reservation is required; the service will be available to all.
Departure time: from 7.30 pm with last departure at 8:00 pm.
Boarding location: Pier in front of the restaurant “Lago” (see map).
Cost: € 18.00 Round Trip, payable directly at boarding (cash or credit card).
Return time: the first boats will leave immediately after the concert and subsequent trips will follow. We therefore ask for patience in waiting for boats to return.
Car Parking:
Large free parking is available on Via degli Artigiani in Lenno (see map).
