In fact, there will be the possibility to participate only in case the concert can be held outside with appropriate weather conditions.
This program will sound familiar to many people: a choice of highlights from the soprano and baritone verismo repertoires including Leoncavallo’s, Cilea’s, and Mascagni’s warhorses, combined with a selection from Puccini — one of the fêted centennials is his — mixing the well-known with the lesser-known. The latter is drawn in particular from his early opera, Le Villi, composed in full verismo climate.

How to reach Villa Melzi d’Eril:
For those coming from the west shore of Lake Como (Tremezzina or Menaggio) consult the ferry schedule from Cadenabbia.
Entrance to the venue:
The ticket office opens one hour before the concert.
Admission from the access gates is allowed twenty minutes before the start of the concert.
Approximate duration of the event:
65 min + intermission

In case of bad weather, the concert will be held inside Villa Melzi d’Eril.
