Louis Lortie’s piano meets the wind instruments of Les Vents Français, the French ensemble composed of internationally renowned soloists, playing with some of the most prestigious orchestras in the world.
On this occasion, the complete ensemble plays this concert with Maestro Lortie: Emmanuel Pahud – Principal Flute of the Berliner Philarmoniker, Gilbert Audin – Principal Bassoon of the Paris Opera, Paul Mayer – clarinet, Francois Leleux – oboe, Radovan Vlatković – horn.
Emmanuel Pahud became Principal Flute of the Berlin Philharmonic at the age of 22. He is regularly guest soloist with the world’s most famous festivals and orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, Bayerischer Rundfunk, Camerata Salzburg, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and more.
